Indexation of pensionIndexation of pension

Labor »Posted 17 Aug 2017

legal question I was early retired in 1995 at age 52. Since retirement the company I worked for was taken over by another company . My pension was not indexed but historically cost of living increases were given regularly . The new company inserted an index clause into their pension but state that as I retired prior to the change I am not entitled to indexation . People I worked with who started after me get indexation . I keep raising this with the pension fund but to no avail. The pension fund is adequately funded. I feel I should receive indexation and I should have this back dated. Do I have any legal recourse?
